By browsing or otherwise using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not continue to use the site.

SA Grant Dates is an independent, privately operated information website. We are not SASSA, the Department of Social Development or any other South African government body, and nothing in these Terms should be read as suggesting otherwise. Who These Terms Apply To

These Terms & Conditions apply to anyone who visits or uses this website, whether you’re reading a guide, checking a payment date, or getting in touch through our contact form. If you’re using the site on behalf of someone else — for example, helping an older relative check their grant information — you’re still responsible for how the site is used on that visit.

What This Website Is For

SA Grant Dates publishes plain-language guides and reference information about SASSA grants, the SRD R370 grant, payment schedules, application steps, status meanings and appeals. It exists to help people understand these processes and find the right official channel more easily. It is not a substitute for SASSA’s own website, the SRD portal, or direct contact with SASSA, and it cannot be used to check your personal grant status, submit an application, or change your details — we simply don’t have access to any individual’s SASSA records.

Using This Website

You’re welcome to browse SA Grant Dates, read our guides, and share links to our pages with others who might find them useful. In using the site, please don’t:

scrape, copy or republish our content in bulk, or present our pages as your own work elsewhere;
use automated tools to crawl the site in a way that places unreasonable load on it;
attempt to interfere with the website’s security, hosting or normal operation;
use the site, its name or its content to imply an official connection to SASSA or government that doesn’t exist; or
submit false, abusive or malicious content through our contact form.

We reserve the right to restrict access for anyone who uses the website in a way that breaches these Terms & Conditions.

Accuracy and Availability of Information

We research and write our content carefully and check time-sensitive details such as payment dates and eligibility rules against official sources, as described in our Editorial Policy and Corrections. Even so, SASSA policies, amounts, dates and online processes can change, sometimes without much notice, and a page may not yet reflect the very latest update at the moment you read it. Treat everything on this site as general guidance rather than a guarantee, and confirm anything important directly with SASSA before relying on it. We also can’t guarantee the website will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted — we do maintenance, and occasionally things break, like any other website.

Links to Official and Third-Party Websites

Many of our pages link to SASSA, the SRD portal, the Department of Social Development, GOV.ZA and similar official sources, so that you can go straight to the source or complete an action that only SASSA can handle. We choose these links carefully, but we don’t control those websites, and we’re not responsible for their content, uptime or how they handle your information once you leave sagrantdates.co.za. Following a link to an official site doesn’t change your relationship with SA Grant Dates or bring that site under these Terms.

Intellectual Property and Content Use

The written content, page structure and original illustrations on SA Grant Dates are created for this website, and remain our property (or that of our licensors) unless stated otherwise. You may read, print or share individual pages for personal, non-commercial use, including sending a link to someone who needs the information.

Republishing our articles elsewhere, copying substantial parts of a page onto another site, or using our content to build a competing information service isn’t permitted without our prior written permission. If you use our contact form to ask a question or flag something that needs correcting, you’re responsible for what you send us, and for keeping sensitive details — your ID number, banking information, SASSA login, password or one-time PIN — out of that message.
